Coolant Conditional Unit
- The temperature of the coolant has a significant impact on the thermal and mechanical behaviour of an internal combustion engine (e.g. BSFC and emissions).
- This function is performed automatically by the DCPL coolant conditioning unit, which controls coolant temperature independently of engine operating conditions. An on-board controller installed in the control cabinet controls and regulates the system.
- High accuracy and repeatability. The integrated system ensures that variations are compensated, so that end results of dynomometer output are consistent.
- Integrated unit monitors and controls coolant pressure, coolant temperature, and coolant flow.
- Built-in-safety to protect engine in case of coolant inadequacy.
