Responsibilities and Duties
• Plan, schedule, and manage mechanical engineering projects.
• Prepare cost estimates.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams including design, procurement, and production.
• Supervise mechanical works on site including installation, fabrication, commissioning, and maintenance.
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings and specifications.
• Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure smooth execution of site activities.
• Monitor progress and quality of work and ensure adherence to project timelines and safety standards.
• Perform quality checks and inspections to ensure compliance with engineering standards.
• Maintain daily reports, documentation, and material records.
• Resolve any technical issues that arise on-site in coordination with senior engineers or consultants.
• Ensure proper use of tools, equipment, and materials at the site.
• Should be ready to travel across India for project and installation related visits
• Coordinate and work with the service team for all site related issues on a regular basis
Qualifications
Education level: – Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
02–03 years of experience in mechanical site execution (preferably in SPM or engine testing industry)
Technical skills: –
• Strong knowledge of engineering principles, CAD software (AutoCAD/SolidWorks/Creo), and project management tools.
• Familiarity with mechanical codes and standards (e.g., ISO).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
